Colorado mentor Shelia Jones has shared some good news about her mentee Hannah Shapiro, of Eagle Valley High, Gypsum, Colorado. After Shapiro’s broadcast video kids were named finalists for a Pacemaker they were featured in an article in the Vail Daily September 19.
The article quoted Shapiro saying, “It’s the scholastic Pulitzer Prize.” The article went on to say that being a finalist is good. Winning would be better, but it won’t change the way they work, Shapiro said.
