The National Press Club, “The Place Where News Happens,” for more than 100 years, was the location of the Adviser Luncheon on Friday. The luncheon was part of the JEA/NSPA convention in Washington, D.C. Several of the JEA mentors attended.
Lunch was served in the ballroom where world leaders address media, guests and a global audience in print, on air and online.
Larry Kaplow, NPR Middle East editor, was the luncheon speaker. He is a freelance journalist in Mexico City and a Baghdad bureau chief for Newsweek.
